Music I’d like to have…
In order to keep track of all the music I’d like to have but probably shouldn’t spend the money on at this point, I’m going to keep a list here. Note most of these songs were found by trolling iTunes for 80s stuff. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

- Gym Class Heroes – not sure which album but like “Clothes Off”..sorry, I’m a sucker for a catchy song
- Eve – Tambourine

- a-Ha – Hunting High and Low
- Wham! – Everything She Wants (already have Last Christmas and Careless Whisper)
- Alphaville – Forever Young
- Cathy Dennis – Too Many Walls
- Chris de Burgh – The Lady in Red
- The Cure – Greatest Hits
- Debbie Gibson -
- Gary Numan – Cars (for my Jetta) =)

Huey Lewis and the News (2007)
So this Sunday, Marshall and I drove up to Twainharte for the day so we could attend a Huey Lewis and the News concert at IronStone Winery in Murphys. The last time we saw Huey was at the California State Fair 6 years ago. He was awesome then and he totally rocked this year. We weren’t able to take cameras into the concert so here’s a picture of us from the parking lot.
I’ll write more later. Time for bed now.

Finished knit hats…gangsta style!
Well, I finally (took a week) finished Marshall’s double-knit hat and it came out pretty good. After finishing that I went ahead and made the VW hat for me. Amazingly enough that only took a couple of hours (man are my fingers tired)… Time flies when you’re watching a marathon of Family Guy.
So, now with both hats completed, it’s time for some serious modeling and by serious modeling I mean Marshall and me acting like goof balls and kickin’ it gangsta style.
And some other pictures which are kind of fun…
So, now that I’ve got those two projects out of the way, I guess it’s time to move onto something new. Hmm, I do have a plastic canvas project I have to finish but it’s sooo boring… Oh sorry, feel asleep just thinking about it. =P Maybe I’ll try something else. Ok, well I’ll post more when I’ve finished another project. Bye for now! =)

Double-knit hat
So today, rather than worry about work stuff that I currently have little control over, I decided to work on knitting a hat for Marshall. Why you ask? Well as it turns out, Marshall is really sensitive to cold and wind and since I really want him to continue to go on dog walks with me at night, I figured I’d make him a hat to keep his ears warm. =)
Here is a link to the hat I’m making him. It’s pretty cool.
Only bad thing about making this hat is that it will take twice as long to make because it is double-sided meaning that you knit up two hats at once. It will be nice and warm though and already it looks pretty awesome. I’m doing it in black and grey and will post a picture of it when I’m done.
After I make Marshall a hat, I’m planning on making a hat for myself that has the VW emblem on it. How cool is that? Here is a link to that pattern.
Well, if I want to finish the hat, I guess I better get back to it. I’ll write more later. Bye for now. =)

Simpsons 2007 baby!
Ok, so after months of anticipation, I finally got to see the Simpsons Movie and it was freakin’ hilarious! =) I laughed SO hard and I’m sure I was more than a little annoying when I kept slapping Marshall saying “Look! It’s Spiderpig, it’s SPIDERPIG!”
When Spiderpig made his first appearance I was all “Woooo!!! Yeah! Spiderpig!” (I know, I normally greatly dislike people at the theater who are like that but I couldn’t help myself) He was so cute and he and Homer totally, and I mean totally, reminded me of Sierra and me. It was great.
Another cool thing I found after watching the movie was the http://www.simpsonizeme.com website which allows you to upload a picture of yourself and get back a Simpsons character version of yourself. Heather came over to have dinner tonight so we both took pictures of ourselves and then Simpsonized us. Here are the results. Here’s me:
And here’s Heather:
Pretty close eh? =) For whatever reason, boredom or a monster coffee mug mixed drink (thank you Heather), we also decided to braid our hair and do an impression of the snorks. Check it out…which one is the real Snork? ![]()

Too much. =P Well we had fun anyway and as it’s approaching 11 (way past my senior citizen bedtime), I’m gonna wrap it up and will write more later. Goodnight everybody…

Attempting to recreate Sick mix
Ok, well we know that I loved a particular mix CD that was accidentally (“accidentally”) given away when my old radio was given to the good will. Since then, I’ve really wanted to recover those songs and amazingly enough, it seems that I still remember a good portion of the songs on that tape. Since I’ll forget them unless I write them down, here’s the list and the status on whether I have re-obtained the song or not.
- They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y) – Pete Rock & C.L Smooth
- Rebirth of Cool (Slick Like Dat) – Digable Planets
- Standing on the Verge (Of Gettin It On) – George Clinton (unfortunately only the live version)
- Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa (Sad Song) – Otis Redding
- Midlife Crisis – Faith No More
- The Stroke – Billy Squier
- Cream – Prince
- Sexy M.F. – Prince
- Letitgo – Prince (somewhere but need to find it)
- Kiss – Prince
- It Was a Good Day – Ice Cube (haven’t gotten this one yet)

My Family (pictures)
Well it’s been quite a while since I posted anything to my site but after recently getting back into WordPress at work, I decided I should get back to updating my site again.
So, after thinking about what I’d have to say something about, I decided to write about and post some pictures of my family. We’ll see how well this goes. =)
First, a couple pictures of Marshall and me:
Marshall and me in San Francisco for a Giants Game (2006)
Marshall and me at my parents house (2007)

And now some pictures of my family:
